Student Teacher, Technician
Rouse High School
During my second student teaching placement at Rouse High School, I assisted Mel Edwards and her team of technical theatre students on the technical elements of their 2022 UIL one-act play. My involvement included set construction, set painting and detailing, set dressing, trim work, and stage lighting assistance, among others.

Dinner and a Movie
Student Teacher, Director
Whitestone Elementary School
During my first student teaching placement at Whitestone Elementary School, I collaborated with Brooke Hartgraves and her performing arts classes on their spirit night schoolwide performances. Each performance included a theatrical scene (third and fourth graders were required to memorize lines, while kindergarten through second acted out narrations) and a decade-themed musical element. Due to media sharing permissions, pictures are not available to non-family members, but scripts and audio files from each scene are available to download.
Scenes from Come Winter's End -
Directing the Young Performer
Director
Anderson High School
As part of my last year at UT, I directed a selection of scenes from Come Winter's End with a group of students from Anderson High School in Austin, Texas. This process included holding auditions and callbacks, becoming familiar with my chosen cast, designing all tech elements myself, devising and embarking on our complete rehearsal process, and orchestrating final performances, granting me invaluable insight into the production process as a director.

Various Projects, Texas Performing Arts
Student Stage Lighting Assistant
Texas Performing Arts
From fall 2019 to the present, I have been a member of the student stage lighting crew at Texas Performing Arts. This job has granted me invaluable experience and knowledge in lighting technology, and I have had the opportunity to work on everything from plays to dance shows to operas to art exhibitions (all officially sanctioned by the University of Texas at Austin).

Clue - Sunny D Children's
Theatre Camp
Stage Manager, Assistant Educator, Summer Intern
Blue Ridge Community Theatre
During the summer of 2021, I served as stage manager and assistant educator for the teenage segment of Blue Ridge Community Theatre's annual Sunny D Theatre Camp. My responsibilities involved planning and leading daily rehearsal sessions, preparing young actors (each possessing completely varying levels of experience) over two weeks for final performances, performing all necessary script analysis and tech plotting, and keeping order backstage during said performances.

Critical Failures
Performer, Costume Team
Take The Wheel Productions (UT Austin)
As part of my Fall 2019 semester at UT Austin, I performed and served as a member of the costume team for Take The Wheel Productions' Critical Failures. As a performer, I collaborated with the cast and crew of the show to ensure that we were all working and acting in harmony; as a costumer, I sought out costume pieces from as many sources I could find and handmade anything that could not be donated or purchased.
